I am inspired by the beauty of nature to paint and draw. Plants, trees and flowers are my main subjects, but almost anything can become my subject matter. I studied art studio and art history in university, and have taken courses in the many places I have lived.

The basis of all of my art is drawing, but I use a lot of different media–pencil, ink, watercolour, pastel and several kinds of original printmaking, such as etching, monoprinting, and drypointing. As the weather changes I enjoy discovering beautiful aspects of nature to paint.
