April 6, 2020

I am reaching out to you once again to see if you will support A Gift of Art by making a gift today.

These weeks have been very challenging for everyone. As a Charity, CRA # 838727493RR0001 our mission is to support and promote local artists and artisans. There are currently over 160 local artists as well as a photography club, a drama group, poetry and writing lessons. All of whom rely on us for promotion. Right now we have no income and that is very difficult. Can you help?

We are doing several things to help ourselves and provide interest for people isolated at home. Several art creations are being offered for sale on line to try to generate revenue. Our drama section has a google hang out room where they can work on the lines for their next play.

Now more than ever, we are here for the community at large. Currently there are two short videos, one showing how to make play doh at home and the other to create an Easter Bunny from a toilet paper roll.

There is a pizza and paint party night video. It will be up April 16th. Something for everyone.

Free on line classes of general interest complete today’s roster, ASL and cursive writing are in production. Currently two contests have been posted, a short story contest and one for photography.

We are doing what we can to stay alive and keep a few of our employees on payroll.

Any donation of more than $20.00 receives a tax receipt as well as our heart-felt thanks.

Your help is needed! Donations may be made on line at , by phone or by mail.

Yours truly

Ann-marie Harley,

Chair, Board of Directors, Newcastle’s Art Show Inc.,
