March 11, – April 22, 2022
Fridays, 5:30 – 8:30 pm. 6 week session. (No class on March 18.)
In a relaxed and open atmosphere, we will develop the skills necessary to quickly lay-in an oil sketch. We will use a photo source at first in the studio and hopefully paint on-site in the local area, if we are ready.
The “sketch” in oil is a historic and refined art form with richness and expressive bower based on spontaneous and lively execution. It embodies our lived experience of nature.
Suitable for intermediate and advanced painters.
Basic oil painting supplies are required. Please contact the Gallery if you have questions.
