Cricut Demonstration with Lynne Lyon

Saturday, January 8, 2022

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

What is a Cricut? Well, it’s pronounced like the insect name, cricket. And it is a versatile cutting and writing machine that can expand your crafting skills and accomplishments. Use your imagination and create projects using vinyl decals, printable vinyl, cardstock. Some models will even cut wood and do metal engraving!

Come join in on a demo and discussion that will open the Cricut world to you. We will show you some projects from start to finish using Cricut Design Space to create and design to the cutting step on the Cricut machine, to the weeding, and finally the application onto the surface of your choice.

Questions are sure to come up, and we will answer them based on years of experience using this crafting tool. You will learn about all the accessories available and what you need and what you really don’t need. There will be maintenance tips on how to care for your machine and mats and other extras.

If you have been sitting on the fence about getting a Cricut, or if you are not sure which one to get, this will help you see the differences between the six different versions of the machine on the market and how each one can work for you. It can be an expensive investment and with some background knowledge, you can start right in and get the most out of it!
