Woodburning Animal Portrait (Beginner/Intermediate) (3-hour workshop)

While this class will present the basics of using a woodburning tool, including how to prepare a surface for burning, transfer patterns, safety, and techniques for using the various tips, students will also learn more intermediate techniques, including adding texture, highlights, and shading. There will a number of animal patterns provided for all skill levels and interests. Also feel free to bring an 8 by 10 inch image you’d like to burn. You might go home with an owl, hawk, hummingbird, deer, or wolf!
