Yellow Flowers

This acrylic painting done by artist Linda Barry depicts a bronze water well pump surrounded by yellow daisies. This painting uses a wide range of colours, from bronze and orange to light greens and bright yellows. The bright colours of the yellow daisies stands out and contrasts against the orange tinted bronze of the well pump. Visible yellow and dark green blades of grass start at the bottom of the piece and as they go back they become fuzzier and fade out to a much lighter green, and eventually reach white. This painting with its use of calming subject matter and colours, manages to be an overall pleasant painting.
