Salad bowl dancing bird Mother of Pearl

This stunning pottery piece is a large bowl that displays a bird and uses Mother of Pearl. In the center on this bowl there is a painting of a white bird perched on a branch. The bird is surrounded by baby blue which meets with a curved border toward the outside of the bowl. This flowing dark blue edge resembles waves. The ocean-like painting is coated in Mother of Pearl. Mother of Pearl is the iridescent inside lining of Mollusk shells, and gives the edges of this bowl a beautiful rainbow shine. The blue waves inside border of the bowl matches and blends with the dark blue painted all around the outside.
