En Plein Air Painting with Marissa Sweet

This workshop will help you get a good understanding of what to expect when painting outdoors. This class is designed for those who want to stretch their learning curve, paint with the elements, and want to experience an impressionistic approach to their painting. Students will get a general sense of painting fast, make quick decisions and adjust to their environment. Although this workshop is being taught inside the comfort of an indoor space, the approach will be to simulate what it would be like to paint outdoors. Students will work from their own landscape photograph. This is an intermediate workshop. At the end of the workshop, students will be more confident in trying this en plein air approach and be able to advance outdoors!
